This program takes place in the department of Madre de Dios, located in the southeastern jungle of Peru, renowned for its impressive biodiversity, lush
natural beauty, and unique experiences in the heart of the Amazon.

Pickup from the airport or bus terminal in Puerto Maldonado.
Transfer to the port to board the boat bound for the eco-lodge, sailing down the Madre de Dios River while taking in the natural beauty of the Amazon rainforest.
Check-in and welcome lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the famous Monkey Island, a natural sanctuary where various species of monkeys live in the wild, along with tropical birds and exotic flora.
Return to the lodge. Dinner included.

We’ll set out on an excursion to the Tambopata National Reserve to visit the spectacular Lake Sandoval, one of the most beautiful ecosystems in the Peruvian Amazon.
Hike along nature trails surrounded by tropical vegetation until we reach the lake.

Return to the lodge.
In the evening, we’ll take an optional night walk to observe insects, amphibians, and the sounds of the jungle.
