Enjoy a more complete and relaxing experience at Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, by combining a spectacular train ride, a night in the charming town of Aguas Calientes, and a guided tour of the most important Inca citadel in the Americas.

At the scheduled time, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. (depending on your confirmed train schedule), our team will pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco and transport you comfortably to the train station. During the journey, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through mountains, rivers, and lush vegetation until you reach Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).

Upon arrival, our staff will assist you with the transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the town at your leisure, visit the artisan market, enjoy the local cuisine, relax in the hot springs (optional), or simply unwind surrounded by a stunning natural setting.

You’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Aguas Calientes, getting ready to explore the citadel of Machu Picchu the following day.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll board the tour bus that takes you up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where you’ll meet our professional guide to begin a guided tour lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the tour, you’ll explore the main archaeological sites, temples, agricultural terraces, ceremonial plazas, and viewpoints, while learning about the fascinating history and legacy of the Inca civilization.
Once the guided tour is over, you’ll have free time to explore the authorized areas, take photos, and enjoy the unique energy that surrounds this wonder of the world.

You’ll then take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time for lunch (optional) before boarding the return train. Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo or Poroy station (depending on the service you booked), our driver will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, and we’ll drop you off right at your hotel’s doorstep, with an estimated arrival time between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., depending on the train schedule.

This 2-day, 1-night itinerary will allow you to enjoy Machu Picchu at a more leisurely pace, avoiding the hectic pace of a one-day tour and enjoying a more comfortable, exclusive, and unforgettable experience.
