Discover the archaeological and mystical treasures of southern Lake Titicaca in an experience rich in history, culture, and unique landscapes.

We’ll begin by picking you up from your hotel in Puno to visit Chucuito, where we’ll see the historic sundial and the famous Temple of Fertility (Inka Uyu). We’ll continue on to the Chullpas of Molloco, an ancient necropolis featuring imposing burial towers from the Aymara and Inca cultures.

Next, we’ll explore the Waru Warus, an innovative pre-Hispanic agricultural system that showcases the ingenuity of Andean civilizations. Finally, we’ll arrive at the enigmatic Aramu Muru, or Gate of the Gods—a sanctuary carved into the rock and considered one of the most mystical places on the Altiplano, surrounded by impressive rock formations.

Discover the magic of Puno and enjoy an unforgettable journey sailing on the highest navigable lake in the world: the majestic Lake Titicaca. Our Puno + Lake Titicaca 2 Days / 1 Night program has been specially designed for travelers who wish to combine ancestral culture, Andean landscapes, living traditions, and direct contact with local communities in one unique experience.

Enjoy an authentic adventure visiting the famous Floating Islands of Uros, spending the night on Amantaní Island with local families, and exploring the traditional Taquile Island, world-renowned for its textile art and breathtaking panoramic lake views.

We will begin the experience by picking you up from your hotel and transferring you to the main port of Puno, where we will board the tourist boat heading across Lake Titicaca.

Our first stop will be the famous Floating Islands of Uros, handcrafted from totora reeds by their own inhabitants. Here you will learn about their ancient customs, traditional way of life, and the importance of this ancestral lake community. We will visit two representative islands.

We will then continue navigating toward the beautiful Amantaní Island, enjoying stunning natural scenery along the way.
Upon arrival, local families will warmly welcome us and accompany us to their rural homes, where we will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with Andean ingredients.

In the afternoon, we will hike to the ancient Inca ceremonial temples Pachatata and Pachamama. This sacred site is not only a place of deep spirituality, but also the perfect spot to admire panoramic lake views and witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and optional participation in a cultural activity with local music and dances.

Overnight stay in a family home on Amantaní Island.

After breakfast, we will say goodbye to Amantaní and continue by boat to the famous Taquile Island.
Upon arrival, we will begin a scenic walk toward the main square of the village, enjoying incredible lake views and ancient agricultural terraces.
Taquile is internationally recognized for its traditional textiles, declared Cultural Heritage, where every weaving tells a story of identity and local customs.
During the visit, we will explore:

Later, we will enjoy a traditional lunch overlooking the lake.

Finally, we return by boat to the city of Puno, arriving in the afternoon.

Uros – Taquile & Luquina Speed Boat

A full-day adventure to Taquile Island, Luquina Chico, and the Floating Islands of Uros by speed boat, designed to discover the most impressive landscapes of Lake Titicaca.
We begin exploring Taquile Island, renowned for its living culture, beautiful handmade textiles, and ancestral traditions. UNESCO recognized it as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Then we head to the Chucuito Peninsula to visit the Aymara community of Luquina Chico, an excellent example of community tourism. Here we enjoy a delicious Altiplano buffet lunch at the renowned restaurant La Casa del Pescador, together with a cultural dance presentation and a quinoa interpretation center.
